Every year our
school organize a sports week. I and other DP students volunteered for help. We
planned the activity with our sports teacher and CAS coordinator. So this time
it was our responsibility to organize this sports events. Everyone was very
excited.
15 January 2014: Today I and
my classmates were given responsibility of PYP students’ sports event. We got
the ground ready with help of our activity in-charge Miss Ancina Lobo. We marked
the start-line and finish-line. We brought the ribbon for finish-line. Events
for PYP students were like sack race, sprint race, medical ball, and picking
toys race. So had to arrange all the equipment needed. We gathered the students
and took them to the ground. Then we divided them in groups of 7. We started
the events and students took part actively. Today I gave 3 hours in this
activity.
16 January 2014 : Today
class 1 to 5 had their sports events. Everyone was excited and prepared. While
the participants were preparing, we made arrangements for the events. When everyone
and everything was ready, our director sir wished all the participants luck and
we started. During the events we had to keep records of athletic and throwing
events. Today I gave 3 hours in this activity.
17 January 2014: Today was the last day and the most important one. This was a chance for Middle school & Dp students to prove themselves. Everybody started warming up. Whole year we practice and stay committed to workout and fitness for this day. I also helped our sports teacher in organizing and keeping records. Today I gave 2 hours in this activity. In these 3 days we all dp students worked collaboratively to make this activity a success.
