In today’s
age everyone talks about saving nature and global warming. Many countries and
NGOs have taken initiative for this purpose. Even multinational companies do
CSR (Corporate social responsibility) activities. Our (school’s) neighbor Mahindra and Mahindra group does many
activates to help the society. We get good encouragement and inspiration from
them for our CAS’ service activities. Today they decided to do plantation. They
called, we DP students for this activity. Planting always gives peace to mind.
When we got there their representatives gave speech about protecting
environment. Those were very inspirational words. First we planned the
activity. The plan was they will dig the holes and we will plant the saplings
and refill the holes. Each one of us planted 2-3 plants. This was a sensational
activity. I am very much inspired from this experience. We engaged with issues of global importance.
